Co-Author Agreement — Transform Your Life (2026 Edition)

Publisher: Transformation Services Inc. (dba Transformation Academy / Transformation Publishing), 40946 US Hwy 19 N #171, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689 ("Publisher"). Book: Transform Your Life: Stories, Lessons & Tools for Becoming Your Best Self (2026 Collaborative Edition). By paying the $199 co-author deposit, you (the "Author") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below. Your Shopify order (payment) date is the effective date of this Agreement and the start of the seven-day cancellation period described in Section 4.

Full terms

1. The project & your contribution. The Publisher is producing a collaborative book featuring up to 50 coach co-authors, and the Author is included as a co-author subject to these terms. The Author will submit one chapter of 800–1,200 words — a personal story, lesson, framework, practical tool, or exercise — by Tuesday, September 1, 2026 (a firm deadline), plus a short author bio and a headshot by Monday, September 8, 2026. The Publisher provides professional editing and formatting to make the chapter publish-ready. The Author confirms the work is original and does not infringe anyone else's rights.

2. Intellectual property. The Author retains ownership of their individual work and may reuse their own chapter content elsewhere. The Author grants the Publisher the rights necessary to edit, publish, print, distribute, promote, and sell the compiled book, including the right to use the Author's name, bio, photo, and likeness in the book and in related marketing. Authors may mention and link to their own businesses in their author bios.

3. Your 40-copy commitment. Every participating author commits to 40 copies at the $12 presale price — a total of $480. The $199 deposit counts toward the $480; it is not an additional charge. Authors may sell more than 40 copies, and may purchase additional copies later at the available author price.

4. Deposit & seven-day cancellation. A $199 deposit reserves the Author's seat and is applied toward the 40-copy commitment; seats are limited and confirmed in the order deposits are received. The Author may cancel and receive a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of payment. After seven days, the deposit is non-refundable, because the Author's seat is being held and production work begins. "Non-refundable after seven days" means the Author cannot withdraw and request the deposit back — it does not prevent the Author from earning the deposit back through verified presales, as described in Sections 5–6.

5. Payment options. The Author has two options: (a) Presale option — participate in the presale and have verified sales credited toward the $480 commitment; or (b) Pay-in-full option — pay the full $480 without participating in the presale and receive 40 copies. If the Author participates in the presale but does not generate enough verified sales to cover the commitment, the Publisher will invoice the Author for the remaining balance.

6. Presale refund calculation. The refund is graduated, not all-or-nothing. Pre-sell all 40 copies and the full $199 deposit is returned. Pre-sell fewer than 40 and the presale revenue is credited toward the $480 commitment: if the presale revenue plus the deposit exceeds $480, the difference is refunded to the Author; if the combined amount is less than $480, the Author is invoiced for the difference. Any remaining physical copies are shipped to the Author to sell, gift, or use with clients. Example: an Author who pre-sells 30 copies generates $360; combined with the $199 deposit that is $559; after satisfying the $480 commitment, approximately $79 is returned to the Author and the remaining copies are provided to them.

7. Shipping. Presale customers pay shipping at checkout on every order, whether in the United States or internationally; these customer shipping charges do not count toward the Author's $480 commitment. Shipping of the Author's remaining bulk copies within the United States is covered by the Publisher. International author-copy shipping is billed to the Author at cost, and whenever practical international copies may be printed through the nearest Amazon marketplace to reduce shipping expense.

8. Pricing & availability. The presale price is $12 per copy. The regular retail price after launch is $14.99 per copy. The book will be available through the Transformation Academy website and will be listed on Amazon for the public launch.

9. Timeline. Chapter deadline: September 1, 2026. Bio and headshot deadline: September 8, 2026. Presale opens: October 5, 2026. Author proof-review period: October 5–9, 2026. Official launch: the week of October 26, 2026. Author copies ship after launch (late October / early November 2026).

10. What you receive. Participating authors receive: a professionally edited and formatted chapter; their name credited as a co-author; an author bio featuring their photograph, business information, and link; a published-author badge and marketing graphics; participation in the coordinated launch; the ability to use "published author" in their professional marketing; and a copy of a previous collaborative book as an example of the finished work. The Publisher makes no guarantee of book sales, income, client acquisition, or specific results; outcomes depend on many factors, including the Author's own promotion.

11. General. The Publisher is Transformation Services Inc., 40946 US Hwy 19 N #171, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689. Notices, cancellation or withdrawal requests, and chapter submissions should be sent to Contact@transformationacademy.com. The parties are independent contractors; this is not an employment or partnership relationship. This document is the entire agreement between the parties regarding the project, is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any changes must be in writing.

Acceptance

The Co-Author Agreement is provided before payment — linked in the accepted-author email and on the deposit product page. By completing the $199 co-author deposit, the Author confirms: "I have read and agree to the Co-Author Agreement, including the 40-copy commitment, presale terms, intellectual-property license, shipping responsibilities, and seven-day cancellation policy." The Author's Shopify order (payment) date is retained as the effective date of this Agreement and the start of the seven-day cancellation period.
